Disabling XP popup bubbles

Edit the Registry Settings and create a new DWord as indicated:

User Key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]

 

Value Name: EnableBalloonTips

Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)

Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)
